About us

The business was started by Breiviken Eiendom AS in the summer of 2003 with 52 storage units in Sandviken. The goal was to establish a self-service storage facility in Bergen with high quality and good security. In the autumn of 2004 operations were taken over by the newly founded Selvbetjeningslageret AS, and the facility was expanded by one floor.

In the spring of 2005 Liegruppen AS joined the company, with the aim, among other things, of building a new, centrally located facility in Hansagårdene at Kalfaret. This facility opened in December the same year.

In the autumn of 2006 our third facility was established in the southern part of the city at Midtun. It opened in February 2007. At this facility we also have 40 offices for rent. Midtunlageret AS has been established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Selvbetjeningslageret AS.

All facilities are marketed under Selvbetjeningslageret.

Goal

Selvbetjeningslageret AS aims to further develop both its storage concept and its rental volume.

Owners

Selvbetjeningslageret AS is owned by Liegruppen AS, Tiki Invest AS and Knut Skurtveit AS.

Management

The general manager is Lars Skurtveit.
He is, for the most part, the person our customers reach by phone and email. He provides no-obligation viewings, enters into contracts and holds full responsibility for daily operations and the continued follow-up of customers.
